Camden has six schools: Four elementary schools that range from Pre-K to Grade 6. The elementary schools have extensive programs for children at risk and for enrichment.

Camden's Middle School goes from Grade 7 to 8. Last year its media center won a national award from Scholastic Books for its creative programs to encourage reading in the school.

Camden High School, grades 9-12, has won numerous academic honors and distinguished itself in sports. It offers a multitude of advanced college placement courses and has a state-of-the art technology program, Project Lead the Way, offered in conjunction with the Rochester Institute of Technology, that augments various advanced college programs in engineering, computer science and architecture.

Last year Camden High School's Science Olympiad team placed in the finals of New York State, its band, orchestra, and chorus have won New York All-State awards for their excellence, and its students have won hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to schools such as Colgate, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the United States Naval Academy, Rochester Institute of Technology, Clarkson College, the SUNYs, Union College and Cornell University.

The school offers a broad range of sports for its students and last year its football team won the Section Three Title by winning all ten games of its season, and its field hockey team won their division title for the second year in a row. The high school has a new, state-of-the-art sports stadium with artificial turf and a new personal fitness center that is open to the community.

As one can see, Camden excels at both academics and sports.
