2012 Camden Chamber Lottery Raffle

Back by popular demand, our lottery raffle fundraiser was a big hit last year, so we will be doing it again this year. The tickets will go on sale starting Saturday May 12, 2012 at our 55th Annual Dinner. You may also purchase tickets from any of our local chamber members.

Ticket prices are $5.00 a ticket and the daily drawing’s will be for $25.00 - Saturday drawing’s will be $50.00 - and the July 4th drawing will be for $100.00.

So don’t miss out and buy your tickets today. The drawing’s will start on July 1, 2012.

Village Looks Forward To A Farmer’s Market

Saturdays from now until September, vendors are welcome to take advantage of the Village Park on Main Street between the hours of 9am - 3pm at no cost. All that is asked is that anyone interested stop into the Village Office and fill out the appropriate paperwork for approval.

On a vendor permit application individuals are simply asked to indicate when they expect to be in the Park, and identify the types of items they intend to sell, which is then reviewed by the Board for approval. A hold harmless form is also required, but vendors are not required to pay any fee.

"We are hoping to see the types of products you might find at a traditional Farmer’s Market" the mayor further remarked, "fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, baked goods, crafts, anything appropriate to the setting would be approved." ALCOHOL is NOT ALLOWED, and in order to cook and serve food on site, vendors are required to obtain a permit from the Oneida County Health Department." We are looking forward to making it a family friendly experience, and give local shoppers a chance to access the fresh produce and goods grown and created right her in the area."
